Over Thinking: Job Applications
In times of Economic Crisis (wake up, I won’t mention it again), people are finding that a new job is the way to go. However, the process of gaining a job can sometimes be tricky, if not down right annoying.
Take Job Applications for example. Could employers make them any longer if they tried? Fill out your name 17 million times. Then write in every single date of your previous employement. And then, just to top it all off, you have to fill out the information they only need if you get the job! Why can’t they ask you to do that after you have the job?! I would be more than happy to fill out a long application if I knew I was getting the job. However, if it’s not for certain, then I’m not going to enjoy doing it! But of course, like everyone else, I do fill it out…
I completely agree. In fact, isn’t that what theresume is for? Read that first, then ask me to fill out the damn application!
